HD LABELS INVESTS IN THREE LEMORAU MACHINES

UK-based HD Labels has invested in new Lemorau MEBR+ 330, a manual core cutter Lemorau CT1500 and a Lemorau ER400 roll lifter to increase its production capacity.

‘We are one of the UK’s fastest growing label producers and suppliers,’ said Alex Ashur. ‘The Lemorau MEBR+ is perfect for us as it allows us to speed up our die-cutting of blank labels as well as cutting pre-printed material and adding an over laminate if we choose to. Its relatively small footprint fits perfectly into the production line and it hasn’t stopped cutting labels since the moment we unboxed it.

‘Lemorau has been great to deal with, took the time to guide me and put my mind at rest when needed. The MEBR+ offers an extensive range of upgrade options and over the next couple of years we plan to add to the machine as our customer requirements might change. This should be a system for HD Labels to use for many years.’

The Lemorau MEBR+ 330 manufactured for HD Labels is equipped with an electronic web guide, automatic web tension control system by servo motors, paper and matrix break detection, semi-automatic rewinding and adjustable splice table with pneumatic clamps. It also included an optional lamination station with liner, easy strip waste rewinder, air trims removal, speed pack and razor knife unit.

The manual core cutter, Lemorau CT 1500, installed at HD Label produces an accurate, clean, quality cut with quick and easy changeover for multiple core diameters and wall thickness. The Lemorau ER 400 roll lifter ordered by the converter is a portable equipment, capable of lifting rolls up 150 or 250kg (331 or 551lbs).
