SHREE JI PRINTING BUYS SECOND LEMORAU MICR3

Shree JI Printing, a converter based in the New York metropolitan area, has invested in Lemorau Micr3 to increase its production capabilities. This is the second purchase from the Portuguese manufacturer, following the first acquisition in 2018.

Shree JI Printing is a family-owned business that started in a home garage in 1994 with one employee and one machine. Today, with the company operates in the 2300sqm facility (nearly 25,000sqf) and supplies customers spread throughout the North America.

‘The Micr3 is a great rewinding and inspection machine and has lots of great features, which is a proven workhorse for our daily operation,’ said Amit Patel, CEO of Shree Ji Printing commenting the recent purchase. ‘It provides quick turnaround with defect free products.

‘We decided to buy the second machine mainly because of Lemorau’s equipment quality and value for money. Its in-line inspection and servo-driven motors offer excellent performance at higher speeds. Over time, Lemorau not only provided excellent service, but also demonstrated great experience. In the last 18 months of constant 10-hours daily operation, we never had to call the manufacturer for support. We will definitely buy more machines from Lemorau in the future.’

The Micr3 is a modular high-speed inspection and finishing machine operating with the maximum speed of 200m/min (660ft/m). The electronic web guide with ultrasonic sensor and electronic label counter are included as standard features. The machine has a wide range of optional equipment options such as die cutting, digital printing, flexo station and cold foil. In this instance, Shree Ji Printing added the optional TubeScan inspection system from BST eltromat, a waste rewinder unit and razor slitting knives.
