French label converter Rubaco Etiquettes has increased its production capacity with the latest investment in a Lemorau MEBR+ modular digital finishing machine.

With more than 30 years of experience in the labeling business, Rubaco produces and commercializes self-adhesive labels mainly for the French, Belgium, and Swiss markets.

‘We were looking for a finishing machine for our digital printing. After long market research, we chose Lemorau, which was able to meet our expectations perfectly and precisely adapt the machine to our needs,’ commented Thibaud Frys, president, and general director at Rubaco. ‘The presence of Sudelek, the exclusive distributor for Lemorau in France, was equally decisive. Its technical skills and local availability have reassured us about the quality of the machine and support. The duo of Lemorau and Sudelek appeared as the best choice for quality, price, and peace of mind.’

Developed for Rubaco Etiquettes with 330mm web width and semi-rotary die-cutting station, the Lemorau MEBR+ has multiple configurations that can be adapted according to customer’s needs, including an open architecture to add more modules in the future.

Rubaco opted for several optional features such as a lamination station with liner, an air trim removal unit, an additional waste rewinder, Quick Remote Connection technology, anvil roll with an adjustable gap, and razor slitting knives.

The recently installed MEBR+ also includes an electronic web guide, automatic web tension controlled by servo motors, adjustable splice table with pneumatic clamps, electronic counter, and automatic stop at master roll end with the programmable end of roll function, among others.
